In Today's Read:
3 Non-Negotiables of A Successful ManMost men think success comes from having the right job, the right network, or the right strategies. Sure, that helps. But here’s what no one talks about: what truly separates men of character from the rest is clarity. I'm not talking about surface-level clarity like are you a boob or bum guy, or are you a blonde or brunette kind of guy. I'm talking about the deep clarity that comes from knowing who you are, what you stand for, and why you get up every morning. The same way a strong brand has a clear vision, mission, and values—so should you as a man. The Clarity Crisis in MeI couldn’t tell you what I stood for at one point. I was trying to be everything to everyone, constantly chasing new ideas. I was hoping something would stick. Spoiler: nothing did. I used to think that clarity would just hit me one day, like little clarity coins I'll collect as I went through life. But what I didn’t get was that clarity isn’t picked up by anyone—it’s built from the ground up. I tried and failed at multiple things:
But none of it stuck because I didn't stick it out. Clarity Isn’t Handed to You - You Earn ItLet me tell you, the men you and I admire for their strength and character didn’t get there by accident. Bezos didn’t become the richest man by luck. Phil Knight didn’t create Nike by waiting for inspiration. They got clear on who they were, and their vision came from struggle, hard work, and setbacks. That’s what gave them the unshakable character we see today. And for us men, the grind is where clarity is born. Whether you're in the gym, at work, or trying to figure out life. In hindsight it is always the hard moments that define who we are. Most men want success but don't want to do the hard work to figure out who they are. This was me—no solid values, no direction, floating from one thing to the next. Honesty Is The Best PolicyI finally realised that if I wanted to get anywhere in life, I had to get clear. I had to sit down, face my fears, and decide what I stood for as a man. The more honest I became with myself, the clearer my path became. You can’t shortcut this. Men today are distracted by trends and ideas that promise quick fixes. But real strength and confidence come from build belief in what you do. You build confidence and strength through the alignment of your words and actions. Here’s Your Next StepForget about the trends and the advice from every influencer. Take a moment, grab a notebook and a pen, and start with these questions:
Answer these with brutal honesty. If you can do that, you’ll have a roadmap for the man you want to become. It’s not going to be easy. I’ve struggled with this for years, and I still do. I went through failed projects, and moments of feeling lost. But that’s why this clarity is so important—it keeps you moving forward when everything else tries to pull you back. No More Quick FixesI wanted real change, so I stopped chasing external validation, money, or trends. I started with building a strong base—knowing who I am when no one’s watching and sticking to that in my daily actions. That’s the only way to stop floating through life. If you want to build confidence, respect, and discipline, it starts with finding clarity. No more chasing the next quick fix. No more hiding from the harsh truth. Write down your answers to those questions, and start living by them through alignment of your words and actions. That’s where success as a man begins. If this letter hit home with you, drop me message. I'd love to hear what vision you are currently working on. |
