Simplest Questions I Never Asked Myself

In today’s read:

  • Question Your Beliefs: Reflect on why you hold your current belief system and whether it truly serves you.
  • Embrace Self-Discovery: Understand that true experience comes from introspection and learning, not just action.
  • Commit to Growth: Start your journey by gaining knowledge and clarity about the person you want to become.

The Simplest Question I Never Asked Myself

Why?

Why do I hold my current belief system?

  • Does it serve me well?
  • Does it give me confidence?
  • Does it make me a better person?

It wasn’t.

What am I chasing and why?

  • Am I trying to please other people?
  • Am I trying to escape myself?
  • Am I wasting my efforts?

Yes, I was.

The answer was never straightforward. It required a lot of introspection and honesty with myself.

I had to really hear and try to understand what that voice in my head was saying.

The voice was chaotic.

  • Jumping from one belief to the next.
  • I was suffering from shiny object syndrome.
  • Consistently fighting with people about things that never even happened yet.

It felt like a constant nightmare I couldn't wake myself from.

Eventually, I said, “Fuck it, I can’t keep doing this to myself.”

I got tired of wasting time, tired of watching others live their lives, and tired of making excuses.

If they can do it, why can't I?

I realized it wasn’t a lack of effort, but a lack of knowledge, understanding, and clarity.

I had to be clear about the man I wanted to be. I had to be honest with myself.

Everyone has a story to tell, few make that story count.

So the journey began.

I immediately bought three books I had been putting off reading:

  1. The Way of The Superior Man
  2. Atomic Habits
  3. $100M Offers

I got so engrossed in the first book that it sent me down a wormhole of self-discovery.

I questioned everything I thought I knew about myself:

  • Values
  • Purpose
  • Confidence

I learned about:

  • Masculinity
  • Femininity
  • Mindset
  • Polarity

As I write this, I still haven't reached the third book because I owe my future self a thorough examination.

I couldn’t keep letting my future self down anymore.

So here I am, on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Every day is a new opportunity

  • to question
  • to learn
  • to grow

It's not about perfection; it's about progress.

By challenging your beliefs and seeking clarity, you can slowly become the person you aspire to be.

Ask yourselves the tough questions, embrace the chaos, and strive for a better, more authentic life.
